Public Service Events 

Jeffco HEAT members get invited to public service events, to set up a table with photo’s and information.  The DOA rescue trailer is now a part of our equipment and we are proud to let everyone take a look.  We have a demo horse, Shorty, that wears the Anderson Sling, so people can see how it is set up for air rescue.   

For the kids, we set up a Z-drag rope system, to show them how we pull a lot of weight with little effort and one of our more talented members, Ingrid, does face painting.  

We try to answer any questions the public has to better prepare them in a case of emergency.  We will come to community meetings to let people know we are here to help.
